Paris Hilton had to ask the US ambassador to Austria, Susan McCaw, to vouch for her after Paris didn’t notice her passport had expired. The heiress is currently in Vienna for the prestigious annual Opera Ball but nearly didn’t make it after being stopped at the airport. McCaw intervened to allow Paris to enter the country but perhaps it would have been better if she hadn’t got in: she was pelted with empty cigarette packets, tissues and fliers at an appearance in a local shopping centre. Austrians chucking trash at Paris Hilton
At the Vienna mall today to sign autographs in Austria, Paris Hilton had to be pulled away by security guards because the crowd started throwing trash at her.
Taking questions from some 100 reporters earlier, Hilton said she “loved” classical music and that she grew up listening to it. “As a little girl, it really helped me fall asleep at night,” she said, adding later that she “really loved” old Michael Jackson songs, Madonna and hip-hop. Hilton said there were “a lot of people who need help” in the world and that she planned to go to Africa sometime this year. “As a celebrity, you can really make people aware of what’s going on in the world,” she said.[Source]

Paris Hilton is upset with Kim Kardashian. On Saturday at the House of Hype pre-Grammy party, Paris Hilton reportedly ignored Kardashian.
A source tells, NY Daily News, Paris is mad at her pal Kim because Kardashian lied to her about the sex tape, and denied it ever existed.
An onlooker at the pre-Grammy get-together says Paris “walked right past” Kim at the party, and “ignored her altogether.” [TheBosh]
